Processing and Shipping Orders

Framed Works:

• Please allow 1-3 working days for me to prepare and securely package your order for shipping.

Unframed Works:

• If you are purchasing a painting unframed, please allow 1-3 working days for me to prepare and securely package your order for shipping.
  
  
• If you would like me to get your painting framed, please contact me with the name of the painting{s} and your location, and I can get you an up to date framing and shipping timeline, as well as a quote for any extra shipping costs if you're outside the UK. Framing usually takes 2-3 weeks, and I will keep you informed with updates.

Prints

• Prints are created to order so please allow 5-7 days for shipping within the UK, and 7-15 days internationally.

Once your order has been processed, you will receive an email notification with an expected delivery date.

Please note: Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer; as such you may like to check those for your country before purchasing.

Delivery Times

Delivery times will depend on your location.

• Within the UK please allow 5-7 working days for ready framed originals, unframed originals, and prints. If we have arranged for me to have a painting framed for you, please see the Unframed Works section above.

Shipping Costs

Shipping is free within the UK.

Outside the UK, shipping costs vary according to purchase. 

Large Originals {60cm and over}: Typically between £75 and £150 depending on your location

Small Originals {up to 60cm}: Typically between £30 and £75 depending on your location

Works on Paper: £15 anywhere outside the UK 

Originals on Wood Panel & Canvas

Some works are already framed, for which the cost is included in the price.

If the original is described as unframed, you have the option of framing it yourself, or I can get it framed prior to shipping. If you'd like to discuss framing options, please contact me at tara@taraleaver.com.

Please note: I am happy to organise framing for you, however please be aware that framing can add significantly to international shipping cost. If we arrange for me to frame your painting, I will get you a quote beforehand, as it may be better for you to take it to your local framer. In the event that you'd like me to go ahead and organise framing, I will send you an invoice for any extra shipping costs.

Prints

Prints are shipped unframed. I do not offer framing for prints as it necessitates using perspex instead of glass, which doesn't do justice to the quality of the artwork, as well as significantly increasing shipping costs.

Originals

Originals purchased from this website are shipped from my home. I package the artwork with great care, and use recycled and recyclable materials where possible.

Original works come with a certificate of authenticity and a handwritten note.

Prints

Prints are created to order by my local printer and packaged with great care using acid free tissue, and rolled securely in a sturdy cardboard tube.

I want you to love your chosen artwork. If you receive your items and wish to return them, I offer a 14-day return policy.

I am happy to accept returns and exchanges when:

• You have dispatched items back within 14 days of receiving your order. 
• The items are returned in their original, resalable condition. {A tracked or courier service is strongly recommended to ensure this.}
• You can show proof of purchase.

Conditions of Return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact me within 48 hours of delivery if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. I will work with you to make it right. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, eg. custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification.

As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
